Blogs, Birthdays, and Summer

I love signing up for new blog/journal hosts. Besides being able to get a username that doesn’t have to be maimed by numbers, there is the joy of being a part of something fresh and new...helping to form the way it will be in the future.
I take my blogging serious..but hardly serious at all at the same time.
I am having a difficult time prolonging ’Heir to the Empire’, a Star Wars novel by Timothy Zahn I am reading right now. I am trying to make it last as long as I can because I have few Star Wars books and I will be very disappointed when I have none to read.
When my mom gets back from vacation, I am sure I will be able to convince her to take me to the book store to get more. Especially since my birthday [the 6th of Augustl, so it’ll be here soon!] is coming up.
I am a BIG TIME Star Wars geek! I find it so hard to think that I, only a mere two weeks ago I’d never seen Star Wars or known anything about it...now I am completely emersed in the world of the galaxy far, far away.
I am so happy that summer is almost over..what a drag. Plus, I love school. I miss theatre (big time drama geek) and I miss the...productivity. I hate sitting around and doing nothing like I am now. I need a project!!
I would be content with just reading, but all I want to read is Star Wars and I already said why I am being slow with that. I’d love to sit around and just watch the movies, but I can’t do that...which sucks.
Yay! I am really excited about the school year, starting up the 15th [August] here. Earlier than I did in Germany...but this is good.
My freshman year here...a dreadful ride I never will and would very much like to forget is behind me, and I am looking forward to a kickass sophomore year...the only thing that is slightly upsetting is that I won’t be taking a science next year. It takes two periods for my introduction to cosmetology course, and that’s why.
Classes I signed up for:
-Humanties (TAG) consisting of AP English II and AP World History
-Pre-Ap Geometry (I’m embarrassed to be taking it my sophomore year..*runs away at the shame*)
-Speech/Health-It’s the half/half deal
-Introduction to Cosmetology
-Apparel (I FORGOT how to sew...hmmph)
-Honors Teen Leadership (I’m a Leo..I love the lead. I chose it cos I figured it would be a lot of speaking and one of those ’skill’ classes
-the best for last! It’ll be my last period, Theatre Production I. Ms. Hill begged me to take it, and I already planned on it. I’ll definitely be meditating in her class...I have high stress levels for my age.
But I work well under the stress, so what the hell!
I wonder if html can be used in these entries...I’d like to put a moodtheme on here...
Doesn’t hurt to try!
I feel hopeful.
